What is Permanent Jewellery?
Permanent Jewellery refers to a piece of jewellery that is applied by welding together instead of being secured by a typical clasp. The intention is to never having to remove the jewellery. Permanent Jewellery can be in form of a ring, bracelet, anklet or necklace.
Many get a permanent jewellery piece to remember a special occasion such as the birth of a child, hens night, wedding parties, birthdays, milestones etc. They can also represent such things a friendships - like a friendship bracelet!
How is it done?
You first pick your desired chain and charms if desired, then together we pick a custom length and/or design - this assures a good snug fit, it is then welded together.
Does it hurt?
The process does not hurt at all
Can I go through airport security with it?
Yes you can!
What about getting an MRI?
You can cut it at the jumpring and then save it to reapply later
What materials do you use?
At the moment I carry Sterling Silver and Gold Filled, Solid Gold will be available as a preorder. For charms I have pearls and semi precious stones as well as cubic zirconia.
What is Gold Filled?
Gold Filled is made with a thick layer of real solid gold heat and pressure bonded onto a base metal, usually brass.
It is popular due to the lower price point compared to solid gold. If cared for correctly it will last a lifetime.
Our gold filled pieces are made 14/20 which means it is made with 14kt gold and the quantity of gold represents 1/20th or 5% of the total weight of the material.
The value of gold filled pieces is more than gold plated as it has an actual layer of karat gold as opposed to a thin film of gold plated.
Gold Filled is hypoallergenic and tarnish free.
How much is it?
Prices start from $89 for Sterling Silver and $119 for Gold Filled - depending on the chain chosen, the length; ie bracelet, anklet or necklace, also if you would like to add a charm or connector.
Can you do parties?
Yes! You can book for a party in salon or I can travel to you for a hens night, bridal party, wedding, baby shower, birthday party, pop up event or just because - minimum numbers are required. Please get in touch for a quote.
